# Coding-agent plugin

> Point your coding agent at FinchNode's Markdown docs today; the FinchNode coding-agent plugin isn't published yet.

FinchNode is building a plugin for coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. It isn't published yet. Until it is, give your agent these three things.

## Give your agent the docs

- Every docs page has a Markdown copy at the same path plus `.md`, such as `/docs/get-started/quickstart.md`. Each page links it at the bottom.
- [llms.txt](/llms.txt) indexes the docs, and [llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) holds every page in one file.
- [openapi.yaml](/openapi.yaml) describes the API, and [demo-openapi.json](/demo-openapi.json) the demo API.

## Let it try things safely

Connect the [demo MCP server](/docs/ai-agents/mcp-server) so the agent can call real endpoints with synthetic data and no key. When it's ready to test against your app, give it a sandbox key through `FINCHNODE_API_KEY`, never in code or a prompt.

## Plan for the plugin

Two skills: one that builds sample apps on the demo API with no key, and one that tests an integration against the sandbox with scenarios and conformance runs. This page will say how to install it once it's published.
